This has a lovely texture but is a heavyweight and very hard wearing fabric. It's a two tone rectangular weave with a slightly lighter black fabric to give it extra depth. A fabric that is made for high end sofas, the Black sapphire is too good to use on a bean bag sofa.

Rec. Filling Instructions: The Zen Lounger takes approx 2 x 6 cu ft of beans, but this may vary a little depending on the filling mix. The product should never be overfilled, but should remain floppy and comfortable with the feel and flexibility of a giant pillow.
Step 1. Open the filling compartment situated under the end of the beanbag cover (using a zip tool or paper clip)and pull out the Funnelweb tube from inside the product. Zip the Funnelweb bag of beans onto the tube and lift the bag of beans to allow the filling to run into the beanbag. As you do this, massage and pat the outside of the beanbag to ensure you work the beans into every corner.
Step 2. Leaving the Funnelweb Bag of beans still attached, test the Zen by pushing down with your hands to make sure it will sink down considerably when one is sitting on it. You can then add or remove beans until the comfort level suits you, then unzip the Funnelweb Bag and zip closed the opening to the beanbag using the child-proof zipper. Set any remaining beans to one side, as these can be zipped closed and stored away for future topping up as your bean filling settles and compresses over time.

If your open weave fabric thread becomes loose, simply cut it off. Do not pull it. Dust is best removed using your hand vacuum with the appropriate attachment. Avoid harsh brushing and sharp objects (rings, buckles, toys) as it may cause snagging of threads. To avoid your bean bag fading, it is best not to expose it to direct sunlight. For best safety, Your furniture should be placed at least 50cm away from any heat source. During the first 3-6 months, bead filling/padding will compress slightly and may require top up. This is to be considered as normal wear and a good reason why you should use the best quality beads such as our Premier Bead. As tempting as it may be, armrests & backrests are not designed to take seating weight so please try to sit as conventionally as possible. To keep your bean bag furniture looking amazing, you should plump and shake it after use to the bead filling and fabric return to their initial appearance.
Washing & Cleaning:
The good news is that all of our interior fabric covers are warm machine or hand washable in cold or lukewarm water. Please always line dry after washing. Decant the beads using the Funnelweb system before washing and refill afterwards. For ease of care you may also spot clean most stains and scuffs using warm water or a high quality fabric cleaning kit. Fabric protection kits are also encouraged such as 3M Scotch Guard.
Repairs and Warranty:
Like anything in life problems can occasionally occur. If seam splits or tearing occur with reasonable wear and time - please check with our US team if that is covered under statutory warranty. If it is deemed a factory defect or by any means caused by a mistake from our logistics team, ambient lounge will provide a FedEx label to collect the goods, in the original packaging. A replacement or the correct item/size will then be shipped to the customer.
For non-faulty goods:
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your ambient lounge product. We encourage you to try a different cover and our customer service team is happy to help you find the perfect piece for your home!
We are happy to facilitate a replacement or exchange if the desired item is in stock, please note a price difference may apply. Alternatively, we can issue a refund of the cost of goods minus shipping. For non-faulty returns, all returned or exchanged products must be 100% complete in original packaging, unused, in resalable condition, and free from damage. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs incurred.
