From Hary Kane to Marcus Rashford & Raheem Stirling, these superstars are all enjoying Butterfly sofas, acoustics, soft modular lounges, massages, gaming and big screen TV’s. It’s a millennial man-cave paradise to help England in their quest for their first World cup title since 1966.
Ambient Lounge UK & Russia have completely decked out their common room for both indoors and outdoors. All existing hard edged “russian hotel furniture” has been removed and new-age ambient lounge soft luxury moved in. The England boys are now happy, relaxed and focused for the task at hand.
Gareth Southgate & his 23-man english team gave the brief to English FA designers to keep a lid on players during the world cup 2018, retain them in-house and stay focused. Team harmony and welfare needs few outside distractions … so they sought to create an internal bonding atmosphere within hotel walls that was both super-relaxed in their downtime and inclusive of team environment. Ambient Lounge was seen as the perfect fit.
Fused within medical massage rooms and games rooms, the interior area concept combines inclusive loungers where the team can watch games together with clusters of private areas for downtime chill and small groups. The English FA identified that players needed to a) research other world cup games and watch them in a relaxed team environment b). have a resort-like feeling where they could switch off both physically and mentally c) Furniture that was medically approved by the team doctor to take pressure off aching joints and give players the best chance to recover between games and training sessions.
English team balance has never looked so good. There is a calm confidence that has rarely been seen in English teams for the last 40 years - and it’s showing both on and off the pitch.
